Career Highlights:

I've worked with some brilliant educators in the 17 years I've been teaching at UWF.

I've also been a pacer three times for the Pensacola Marathon and have found that role similar in the best ways to teaching.

Why did you start teaching?

I've wanted to teach ever since I studied Hamlet in high school. My teacher presented the text in a way that showed how valuable literature can be in understanding the world around us. What's the best advice that you have ever received?

I can control nothing but my own actions.

What's the best advice you could give to online students?

Structure the time you devote to the online class in the same way that you would structure time you devote to a face-to-face class.
