Career Highlights:

Before transitioning her career into academia, Dr. Rich worked for eight years in the specialty chemicals industry for two global, integrative nylon manufacturers, Solutia Inc. and Ascend Performance Materials. During this time, she held several management positions of increasing responsibility–working her way up to the global cash manager of Ascend. Additionally, she worked extensively with SAP Enterprise Support's resource planning software where she developed several interface applications that were adopted by numerous U.S. manufacturing plants.

What do you want students to learn in your classes? What is the expected outcome?
In my HR classes, I want students to learn how to apply key concepts within an organizational setting. Students engage with real organizations throughout the semester as they complete semester-long projects.
